What can I expect on my first visit?
During your first visit to the Lordex Spine Institute you will be greeted and welcomed by one of our staff. After completion of all necessary paperwork, you will be escorted to our media room where you will view a highly informative 20-minute video that introduces you to the causes of lower back and leg pain and how the Lordex Spinal Stabilization program can improve your ability to lead a full and rewarding life once again. You will then have a consultation with one of our physicians who will discuss your current complaints, your prior history of treatment, and review any other necessary information to determine whether you are a possible candidate for the Lordex program. If you have had a previous MRI imaging study performed, the doctors will review these as part of their assessment process. Should it be necessary, the doctor may recommend MRI or other imaging studies to arrive at a proper diagnosis and treatment plan recommendations. If your condition appears to be one that would benefit from the Lordex Spinal Stabilization Program, the consultation process is followed by a thorough orthopedic and neurological examination to provide further diagnostic information to assist the doctors in your care. At the end of your first visit, you will be scheduled to see your doctor within 24-48 hours for a report of findings and recommendations based on the information obtained.
